Studio148 began a decade ago as a small, intentional salon built on craft, connection, and trust. (Formerly Christopher Michael the Salon.) Over the past 10 years, what started as a single vision grew into a space shaped by the people inside it — artists, clients, and community alike.

As the industry evolved, so did we. This rebrand marks a natural transition from a traditional salon into a creative collective — a space where independent artists can work with autonomy, intention, and shared inspiration. Studio148 is now home to chair rentals offered on daily, weekly, and monthly terms, designed for creatives who value flexibility without sacrificing atmosphere or professionalism.

More than a salon, Studio148 is a place to slow down, create thoughtfully, and connect. As we continue to grow, our vision extends beyond the chair — welcoming community gatherings, collaborative moments, and experiences that bring people together in meaningful ways.

Sustainability is part of how we operate day to day. As a certified Green Circle Salon, we recycle up to 90% of our beauty waste — including hair, foils, excess color, and plastics — helping reduce our environmental footprint while maintaining a beautiful studio space.

Light moves gently through Studio148, settling on soft peach walls, clean lines, and touches of greenery that bring the room to life. Designed to feel warm, open, and effortless, the space balances minimalism with comfort, allowing every detail to exist without clutter.
